Recognizing the importance of preserving the past to offer a window on our present and prepare us for the future, Lawrence Schiller represents and conserves the archives of major photographers and figures from the 20th and 21st century. 

Photographs, film, historical papers, and other assets are maintained and catalogued, not only for licensing of the intellectual property rights, but as objects of art, and as an integral part of the documentary record.

Roz Wyman

Rosalind Wyman was a major American political figure who at age 22 was the youngest person ever elected to the Los Angeles City Council. She was highly influential in bringing the Brooklyn Dodgers from New York to Los Angeles. She worked with John F. Kennedy and every President of her time. Wyman also served on the UNESCO Commission and sat on executive board of the National Endowment for the Arts and other major originations.  She passed away in October 2022 at the age of 92.

In an eclectic career that now spans more than 7 decades, Steiner photographed countless prominent figures including Fidel Castro, Louis Armstrong, and Andy Warhol. Her work has been published and exhibited around the world. Born in Vienna in 1927, she grew up in Argentina and later moved to New York where she has lived since the 1970s.

Lisl Steiner was an Austrian-American photojournalist and artist. In an eclectic career that spanned more than 7 decades, Steiner photographed countless prominent figures including Richard Nixon, Fidel Castro, Louis Armstrong, and Andy Warhol. Her work has been published in LIFE and TIME and exhibited around the world.

Born in Vienna in 1927, she grew up in Argentina and later moved to New York where she lived until passing away in 2023.

Lee Lockwood was an American photojournalist whose coverage of the world during the Cold War often defied expectations. His 1965 interview and photographs of Fidel Castro in Cuba and his 1967 visit to North Vietnam offered an exclusive view of life and politics behind the Iron Curtain.

Lockwood also illuminated the culture of the West, tapping his interviewing and photographic talent to tell the stories of Elderidge Cleaver, the 1961 Freedom Rides, and others.

John Bryson

John Bryson was a noted American photojournalist working for Life magazine and other major publications during the second half of the 20th Century.  He photographed not only the Hollywood elite, but also historical individuals such as Soviet Premier Nikita S. Khrushchev, John F. Kennedy, Armand Hammer, Ernest Hemmingway, Richard Nixon, and Fidel Castro.  Bryson was born in Texas in 1923, attended the University of Texas at Austin and died in 2005 at the age of 81.
